Richard is an award-winning professional documentary film-maker and photographer based in London.

His documentary films have covered a range of topics from homelessness through the Holocaust and the European refugee crisis to the iconic ferries on Sydney Harbour. They have been selected by film festivals in the UK, Europe, Asia, Australia and America. You can watch some of them on the Films page here.

The colour and vigour of Richard’s photographs attract a variety of clients, and his work is on display in offices, hospitals and schools in the UK and abroad. He sells his images through photo libraries for use in magazines, travel brochures and other publications.

Richard loves travelling and has been exploring the world for more than 35 years. His collection of photographs from these travels offers a fantastically diverse record of the countries that he’s visited and the cultures that he’s experienced. You can see the entire collection here.

Richard has worked extensively in the UK too. Collaborating with the Royal Geographical Society, he spent five years exploring London, photographing and filming video interviews with Londoners all over the city.

You can see more about this project here and you can read about the People in London book which formed part of the project here.
